CYBER SECURITY (CS) SYSTEM ARCHITECT AND ENGINEER WITH SECRET CLEARANCE

We are currently searching for a talented, “CYBER SECURITY (CS) SYSTEM ARCHITECT AND ENGINEER to support and operate the Army’s EMS component of the Army Training Information System (ATIS) (previously known as Distributed Learning System (DLS)).  The ATIS, provides the underlying infrastructure to manage and deliver standardized training to Soldiers and other learners.  It also provides the Army with a fully automated, seamless, and web-accessible training network.    

 

Responsibilities:

·         The IA Workforce System Architect will perform the IASAE Level II functions.

·         Act as the Contractor’s SME for system maintenance, System Administration, and COOP/Disaster Recovery operations.

·         Provide oversight of and technical input to the Contractor’s change management processes.

·         Analyze the system performance, optimize the system, and recommend system improvements.

·         Coordinate the Contractor’s identification and management of system problems.

·         Develop studies to identify process improvements and new technologies applicable to the ATIS and EMS operations.

 

Qualifications:

·         Must have a current Active SECRET security clearance.

·         System Architect and Engineer shall possess the following certifications: COMP TIA Network+, COMP TIA Security+.

·         At least 5 years of current experience with designing network architectures, Windows Operating Server & client systems and UNIX and Linux Operating Systems for operation within a DoD Cybersecurity environment. 

·         Must possess 10 years of general computer, network, system and architecture design experience.

·         The CS System Architect and Engineer shall meet the DoD 8570 requirements for IASAE Level II.

·         Must complete a Tier 3, submitted by government, with favorable review (no eligibility required).
