We are currently searching for a talented, “CYBERSECURITY NETWORK MANAGER (CSNM) to support and operate the Army’s EMS component of the Army Training Information System (ATIS) (previously known as Distributed Learning System (DLS)).  The ATIS, provides the underlying infrastructure to manage and deliver standardized training to Soldiers and other learners.  It also provides the Army with a fully automated, seamless, and web-accessible training network.    



·         The CSNM shall perform security operations in compliance with the governing security architecture.  The CSNM shall perform, on a daily basis, the security operations including the maintenance of firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), IPS, and access control lists.

·         The CSNM shall conduct security scans of the systems components using current DoD-approved vulnerability scanning tool(s)” (currently ACAS and SCAP).   Scans will be conducted on all systems Components (ALMS, DDTC, DTFs, and PdM ATIS Office) as required by the tool (i.e.  ACAS weekly and SCAP scans quarterly). In addition scans will be conducted on new systems prior to the system being connected to the network and whenever the Government requests a scan.  The Contractor will make the applicable scan reports available for Government review weekly/quarterly respectively and when requested by the Government (0078).

·         The CSNM shall remediate all Vulnerabilities by applying patches, updating/writing policy, making configuration/technical changes, and complying with STIGs. The CSNM shall enact hardware and software patches and upgrades prior to the required compliance date associated with each patch or upgrade.  For all vulnerabilities and security patches that do not have a due date, the CSNM will adhere to the following compliance timeline based on the severity of the vulnerability:  21 days for critical/high vulnerabilities, 60 days for medium/moderate vulnerabilities and 90 days for low vulnerabilities. The CSNM shall provide technical support including patches/updates/configuration management to eradicate viruses and other threats associated with ACERT notifications, and advisories.  The CSNM shall maintain and verify that domain-wide anti-virus software is functional and auto-updating properly. The CSNM shall provide a report and Plan of Action & Milestone (POA&M) monthly or when requested by the ISSM on all EMS managed system Non- IAVM vulnerabilities identified by the current DoD approved scanning tool (ACAS) (0079). The CSNM shall provide a report and POA&M quarterly or when requested by the ISSM on all vulnerabilities identified by reviewing all the applicable STIG checklist and from the current DoD approved scanning tool (SCAP). ·         Must have a current Active SECRET security clearance.

·         The individual must meet DoDD 8570.01 certification requirements for (IAT) Level II.

·         The CSNM must have at least 7 years of experience in supporting, monitoring, testing, and troubleshooting Enterprise level Network environments utilizing CISCO network equipment.

·         The CSNM must have at least 5 years of experience deploying, configuring, and sustaining VoIP technologies such as Cisco Call Manager, Unity, Content Center Express within a DoD Enterprise Environment.

·         The CSNM will perform the IAT Level II functions described in 8570.01.

·         The CSNM shall possess the following certifications: Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).

·         The CSNM will have previous experience in testing, evaluating, and preparing systems for security certification under National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and/or Risk Management Framework (RMF) for IS guidance.

·         The CSNM positions will be designated IT–I IAW AR 25-2.
