Eustis, VA supporting the Army Training Information Architecture (ATIA) program!


About the Job 

As a Configuration Management Specialist (CMS) within CALNET, Inc., you will be supporting the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Army Training Support Center (ATSC) Army Training Information System (TCM ATIS) in Ft. Eustis, VA. Your role will be to support ATIA systems by providing configuration management planning. The CMS provides configuration management planning, prepares provisions for configuration identification and change control, and helps coordinate the change process to incorporate approved and validated changes into products. The CMS possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments. The CMS functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments. CMS Tasks include:

Ø  Managing day-to-day defect and enhancement tracking activities.

Ø  Managing and maintaining the defect and enhancement tracking system.

Ø  Providing support to the Configuration Control Board by facilitating in-person and/or virtual CCB meetings and decisions.

Ø  Tracking CCB actions.

      Generating/providing reports and metrics as applicable.

 

Required Skills
•    Candidates must have a working knowledge of SharePoint and/or TFS preferred.
•    Candidate must possess a U.S. Citizenship and must be able to obtain a favorable National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI)
