SENIOR PROGRAMMER/PROJECT MANAGER WITH ABILITY TO OBTAIN DOI SECURITY CLEARANCE

We are currently searching for a talented, “SENIOR PROGRAMMER/PROJECT MANAGER to support the Department of the Interior (DOI)’s Bureau of Safety and Environmental (BSEE) on behalf of the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) in Anchorage, Alaska. This individual will be serving as the key personnel for an 18-month project called “BOEM RE SharePoint Library for Permits” with DOI and will facilitate Government-Contractor communications. This individual shall be the primary technical and managerial interface between the Contractor and CO and the COR. BOEM has access to a SharePoint platform that is internal within the Department of Interior (DOI) security network. The Contractor shall create a library for RE within the DOI internal SharePoint site, on which RE’s permit- and contract-related files can be stored and queried by RE staff.  The Contractor shall input up to 10,000 digital files into the newly created SharePoint library, and establish table relationships that allow users to easily search for documents and run queries. Finally, the Contractor shall provide training for RE staff in the use of the newly created SharePoint library, and create user documentation. 

Qualifications:

·         The Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance for the DOI security network, and sign a need-to-know agreement for the BOEM intranet network.

·         Five (5) years of experience in SharePoint Digital Media Library design and configuration management practices (preferably in the Federal Government sector.

·         Experience in providing facilitated training on SharePoint to users.

·         Demonstrated qualities of leadership and responsibility in managing federal projects to produce a product within cost, schedule and time constraints
